Fields Institute in Toronto Postdoctoral Fellowships

Description: Applications are invited for postdoctoral fellowship positions
at the Fields Institute in Toronto for the 2007-2008 academic year. The
thematic program on Operator Algebras will take place at the Institute from
August- December 2007, while the thematic program on New Trends in Harmonic
Analysis will run from January-June 2008.

Eligibility: Qualified candidates who will have recently completed a PhD in
a related area of the mathematical sciences are encouraged to apply.

Deadline: December 7, 2006, although late applications may be considered.

and the Max Planck Institute of Economics, Jena. The general topic is
The Economics of Innovative Change. The research training group offers
12 scholarships for doctoral students with the duration of 2+1 years,
2 post-doc scholarships with the duration of 2 years, 2 qualification
scholarships and 6 scholarships for research students.

Programul se va desfasura timp de 3 ani, in colaborare cu
Children of the Nineties population study (ALSPAC) - Bristol si
University of Rochester - USA. Proiectul se va axa pe
relationarea starii emotionale maternale din timpul sarcinii si in
special pe functiile axei HPA.
Conditii:
Solicitantii trebuie sa detina o diploma in biologie si sa fie
interesati in programarea fetala, dezvoltarea copilului si bazele
